Radio-frequency combined with microneedling uses heat to force the collagen matrix to re-form and tighten skin, diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles, scarring, sagging skin, and other age-related changes. Depending on the area treated, a 24 pin cartridge or 40 pin cartridge will be used to deliver precise energy. Multiple treatments are recommended for best results spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
Most patients are good candidates for Morpheus8. Patients with a history of skin cancer or malignant melanoma are not eligible for treatment. Treats all skin types.
Results of Morpheus8 can last between 12 and 18 months. Periodic maintenance is required as we continue to age.
As soon as you have your first Morpheus8 session, you will notice results, but it is recommended that you have a minimum of three sessions spaced roughly 4 to 6 weeks apart to see the full effects. The results of your treatment will continue to improve for up to three months afterward.
The downtime after each treatment is typically three to four days of mild swelling, redness, and scabbing as the tiny punctures heal from the microneedle.
