Osteopathic Treatments

Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy is a holistic approach to wellness. It involves full body treatments or targeted manipulations for pain relief and general health. Using a variety of techniques, the doctor manipulates the joints of the body to stimulate the brain. The right chemicals are produced to move the body to wellness. (Treatments may be covered by insurance.)

The techniques the doctor uses are not invasive. They do not involve needles or surgery. Osteopathic manipulation is about moving freely and naturally. The doctor’s hands move gently and rhythmically to move the body without any pain involved. The doctor’s hands are able to pass through the body to reach any point. Osteopathic manipulation works by stimulating the nervous system and the entire body, not just the muscles.

If you’re looking for alternative healing, you may want to look at osteopathic manipulative therapy. This is a treatment that is used to help relieve the symptoms of certain diseases and conditions. Osteopathic doctors are specially trained in identifying the regions of your body that are causing you pain. They can use their hands, a gentle touch or other tools in order to make adjustments and provide you with relief from pain. Osteopathic manipulative therapy is used in order to achieve certain goals, such as improving your posture, reducing stress, and aiding with digestion.
